Start and play
Hold the iPad sideways. Tap Play, choose a friend and choose a story. Tap toys to interact. Some activities ask you to drag, rub or hold. Drag empty space to look around and pinch with two fingers to zoom. The pointing hand and spoken prompts help when you pause. Tap the caption panel to hear the current line again. The chapter map lets you revisit the ten chapters; the sticker book shows your discoveries.
Sound and parent settings
Check device volume and mute/silent controls if narration is quiet. Open grown-ups and complete the displayed gate to find Read aloud, Music box, Bedtime calm and the play-time limit. Read aloud and music can be changed independently. Bedtime calm softens the presentation; it is not a guarantee that every animation stops.
Saved progress
Stickers, companion, painted Pip and parent settings are saved on the device. The app has no account or developer-operated cloud sync. The grown-ups clear-stickers action also clears Pip's paint. Delete the app to remove all local app data; offloading or removing its Home Screen icon may keep data. Reinstalling or moving to another device may not preserve progress unless the operating system restores a device backup.
App purchase and TestFlight
The planned App Store release is a one-time paid app with the included stories unlocked. There are no subscriptions or in-app purchase buttons. Apple manages payment, eligible redownloads and purchase support. TestFlight is Apple's beta-testing service; a beta invitation does not require an in-app payment. TestFlight availability is separate from public App Store release.
For purchase/refund help, an adult can use https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ or Apple's support at https://support.apple.com/.
If a story stops responding
Close and reopen the app. If a recovery message appears, use the offered retry action. Check whether a sheet or caption is covering the toy you are trying to tap. Contact support if the problem continues. Do not delete the app as a first troubleshooting step because doing so can remove local progress.
Contact safely
Email the app version/build, iPad model, iPadOS version, chapter/activity and what happened. Do not send passwords, payment information or a child's name, age, photo, voice recording, school or location. Remove personal details from screenshots. Pixel Palms cannot view your saved progress remotely.
